The Haslett Choir Boosters encourages all current Haslett choir students to apply for a Choir Boosters Scholarship.

Haslett Choir Boosters Enrichment Scholarship

​

Students in 7th-11th grade may apply for enrichment scholarships. These scholarships are designed to aid the recipient’s family in paying for voice lessons or choir camp experiences. These activities encourage students to develop their vocal skills and inspire their fellow students.

Private vocal lessons are a wonderful way to improve individual musical skills, develop vocal tone and techniques, increase self-esteem, improve confidence, and develop higher levels of focus and discipline. Additionally, students have an opportunity to participate in the District and State Solo & Ensemble Festivals.

Did you know that your child can receive this private vocal training during the school day or outside of school hours?

Summer camp or other enrichment activities are also available in the area throughout the year. Consider activities like Take It from the Top at the Wharton Center or summer camps such as Interlochen, Blue Lake, or MPulse. Talk to the choir directors for more information!

Senior Leadership Award

​

The Senior Leadership Award is presented each year to two senior students who have shown outstanding leadership qualities as evidenced by such values as volunteerism, responsible attitude, citizenship, and overall commitment to the choral program. The award is not based on vocal talent. The intention to study music or continue education beyond high school is not a consideration.

This is a great opportunity for your student to be recognized for their hard work and dedication to the choir program over the years. If your senior is in the choir program and would like to be considered for this award, please encourage them to complete the application!
